Disneyland : Disneyland is an American theme park in Anaheim, California. It opened to the general public in 1955. The Anaheim Disneyland is the first and original one. Currently the park has been visited by more than 515 million guests. http://disneyland.disney.go.com For this shoot I used the Nikon D300 and the Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 VRII. The biggest problems I faced were the “sea of people” and the soft light. Unfortunately, I went on January 19, 2009 – Martin Luther King holiday. The huge number of guests made it very hard to take pictures – there always dozens of people in the way. This was especially true at night, in low light. I could get the background fine, but the people walking in front of the camera blurred the photo. The day was overcast and the light was very soft as a result. In the late afternoon, the sun broke out but I was too tired to chase the light vigorously, before it started getting dark. Disneyland is very expensive but the service was nothing but spectacular.

Rancho Los Alamitos : Rancho Los Alamitos (Ranch of the Little Cottonwoods) was originally known as Povuu'nga. The story of Rancho Los Alamitos reflects almost every era of the history of Southern California. Beginning around 500 A.D. when the mesa was an important ceremonial and trading center for the Tongva people, the story flows through the Spanish and Mexican periods. Today, it comprises the old ranch house, four acres of gardens, and barns. There are five agricultural buildings, including a working blacksmith's shop, live farm animals, four acres of nationally significant gardens designed by the preeminent landscape architects of the 1920s-1940s, and a sprawling adobe ranch house dating from c.1800. In this shoot, I used the Nikon D40 and Nikon AF-S 18-70 DX.
