Nikon 14-24

This is a shoot at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) with the D810 and the Nikon 14-24 f/2.8G. I'll be back, from time to time with the D810 and the D330 with a different lens combo. There was a special exhibition of impressionist painters "From Picasso to Kandinsky." They are the first dozen or so photos. The permanent exhibition start after the photo of the Ahmanson Building. I could not find any pictures of Picasso or Kandinsky, which is ironic. However, I really liked the pictures of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, a painter I never heard of. I found his paintings to be simple and yet powerful. In addition, the color combination was very nice and pleasant.

The D810 and 14-24 were great to shoot with. The 14-24 is a fantastic lens shooting in low light with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. No wonder is considered to be one of Nikon's best lens. I had a great time.

This a very interesting art piece. It was done by a professional photographer. There is always a singer in one of the panes and the others listen, dance, and react to the music while looking at the singer. One that singer finishes with the song, another one starts.
